Le Groupe DCM Inc., une entreprise québécoise en aéronautique au Québec, est fier d’annoncer l’acquisition récente des Industries Trident Inc.Trident, société basée à Montréal, fabrique depuis 1976 des pièces et des assemblages pour Bombardier, Bell Hélicoptère, Pratt & Whitney Canada et d’autres encore. Par cette acquisition, DCM renforce ses capacités industrielles en usinage de précision par l’ajout d’un quatrième site manufacturier comptant plus de 44 machines à commande numérique sur une superficie de 50,000 pi2 ainsi que d’une équipe de grande expertise. Trident fut d’ailleurs le premier
fournisseur de Bombardier à obtenir la certification de qualité VIP. Venant appuyer les moyens existants des trois divisions actuelles de DCM, cette nouvelle transaction consolide la position du groupe en tant que leader au sein l’industrie aérospatiale québécoise et fortifie les capacités du groupe en vue de soutenir la demande internationale grandissante et le développement de nouveaux marchés. Pour cette transaction, DCM a bénéficié de l’aide financière de son partenaire financier et actionnaire Investissement Québec qui l’appuie dans sa démarche de consolidation de l’industrie.

BLAINVILLE, Monday, January 15, 2018 – DCM Group Inc., a Quebec company well-established in the aviation industry, is proud to announce the recent acquisition of Trident Industries Inc.
Trident, a Montreal-based company, has been manufacturing parts and assemblies for Bombardier, Bell Helicopter, Pratt & Whitney Canada and many others since 1976. With this new acquisition, DCM strengthens its industrial capabilities in precision machining by adding a fourth, 50,000 sq. ft. manufacturing site with more than 44 numerically controlled milling machines and lathes as well as a team of experts. Interesting fact: Trident was the first Bombardier supplier to achieve VIP quality certification.
Supporting the existing capabilities of DCM’s three current divisions, this new transaction consolidates the Group’s position as a leader in the Quebec aerospace industry and strengthens the Group’s capabilities to support growing international demand and the development of new markets.
